Commitment to Work
The Last Line of Defense for Japanese-Standard Quality.
The Quality Department as the final line of defense safeguarding our brand’s reputation and customer trust. If even the smallest defect slips through, it directly impacts the customer’s experience and confidence. For this reason, I prioritize meticulous inspection at every stage, with a firm adherence to established standards. At TCD ASIA, while we are not direct manufacturers, overseeing our suppliers to ensure they meet stringent Japanese quality standards remains a vital responsibility.
Conducting on-site factory visits provides a clearer overview and allows me to identify potential risks early on, making our quality assurance processes significantly more effective. When faced with difficult decisions, I rely on facts and standards rather than personal sentiment to ensure clarity and fairness. Although identifying root causes can be challenging, the achievement of resolving issues is the driving force that keeps me committed to continuously elevating our quality standards.
Appealing Points of the Job
The Challenge of Maintaining Quality Standards and Joy of Results.
Quality assurance work always comes with responsibility and maintaining standards, because a small mistake can directly affect the safety of the driver's life and property. Therefore, 'concentration and carefulness' are very
important.
My most memorable experience was detecting a risk in the process that could cause a defect before a large-scale inspection. If overlooked, it could have escalated into a big problem. That incident made me truly realize the importance
of quality assurance work. Every time my decisions and advice help solve problems and build customer confidence, I feel very proud as a quality assurance expert. Even though this might not be a prominent front-line job, being an
important part in supporting the "reliable quality" behind our products is what I am most proud of.
Future Goals
Improve my quality expertise and continue to grow as a professional
My original reason for joining TCD ASIA was the environment that allowed me to gain in-depth knowledge of quality-related areas such as injection molding and component inspection. The company also places emphasis on basic and external
training, providing opportunities to learn knowledge directly related to quality assurance, such as surface treatment, color adjustment, and even defect detection mechanisms in production programs. Recently, I have become more interested
in the defect detection process.
In addition, my workplace is very supportive and has a warm atmosphere where we can share our opinions. Being able to immediately seek advice on any questions I may have about my work and having
an environment that encourages positive challenges has contributed to my personal growth.
Since joining the company, I feel that my communication and leadership skills have improved significantly, in addition to my technical
skills in promoting quality standards. Going forward, I would like to further enhance my quality assurance expertise and grow into a "quality professional" capable of making more accurate decisions and proposing improvements.
