Turning my passion for racing into a career.

My encounter with TCD ASIA dates back to my university days, when I was competing in Student Formula. At the time, TCD was a team sponsor, which sparked my interest in working in motorsports. As I pursued my job search with the desire to build race cars and be involved in motorsports, I was attracted to the company's environment, where I could learn in depth about sports like rally and cross-country racing. Since joining the company, I've been a member of a motorsports team since its founding, competing in numerous events, including rallies and circuit races both in Japan and abroad. Being able to gain on-site experience while developing actual racing vehicles was a major turning point for me, turning my student dream into a solid career.

Field-Honed Expertise in Competition Vehicles.

Currently, my primary responsibility is the end-to-end management of racing projects. This ranges from parts and tire procurement for Cross Country rallies to the engineering design of the Dunlop 133 race car, as well as the development and management of the 2NR engine series for our customers. My workflow spans from initial design and servicing to rigorous testing and performance tuning, ensuring every vehicle is in peak condition, especially during real-road evaluations. Safety and precision handling are paramount. We must fine-tune road feedback, acceleration, and braking systems to work in perfect harmony. In the world of motorsports, a single minor error can drastically impact race results. Therefore, I pay meticulous attention to every detail to build a race car that drivers can trust in any situation.

The difference between developing a normal car and a race car lies in the heightened precision and speed. A race car must be exceptionally durable and agile to perform at its best under the harshest conditions. However, I do not develop technology solely for racing; I am also dedicated to translating track-proven knowledge into enhancing the performance of everyday road vehicles.

Rally and Cross-Country racing are incredibly demanding. Setting up a car perfectly is a constant challenge due to ever-changing weather and terrain. The unexpected can always happen, making thorough preparation and split-second decision-making vital. Consequently, the joy of seeing a car we built with our own hands cross the finish line with a great result is an incomparable feeling. Specifically, our victory in the recent AXCR 2024 stands as the greatest reward, born from the immense effort of everyone on the team.

Future Goals

A Growth Field Where Practice Drives Development.

In my work, I prioritize teamwork, precision, and unwavering determination. In the unpredictable world of motorsport, where split-second decisions define the race, meticulous preparation and prioritizing safety at every step are absolutely essential. Under the mentorship of veteran engineers, my hands-on experience with race cars has exponentially sharpened my problem-solving and management skills.

At TCD ASIA our teams fosters an environment of warmth and unity. We move toward a single goal, ready to face any obstacle as one. It is this mutual trust and team spirit that drive us to overcome the most challenging conditions. Furthermore, the opportunity to support an international team at Rally Hokkaido in Japan was a transformative experience. It broadened my perspective and allowed me to grasp the "true essence" of motorsport on a level that is truly unique.

Looking toward the future, I am dedicated to becoming a professional race car tuner, proficient in both Rally and Circuit disciplines. By leveraging my passion and the experience I have accumulated, I aim to push my capabilities to the next level, serving as a key contributor in the development and support of next-generation racing vehicles.
